Good points - reasonable price (£45), very near the city centre (literally 2 mins from Sauchiehall Street) and we were only staying one night. Bad points - we were in room 209 which had: a door which didn't close properly, a disabled toilet with artex walls, tiny sink and mismatched tiles, a view of part of the roof with litter... More

Booked in for 2 nights during the Celtic Connections festival and managed to get the room for a bargain £12 a night. The hotel is well located very close to Sauchihall Street and the rest of central Glasgow. There is a car park litterally 30 metres away. It's open 24 hours and seems secure. We parked for 2 nights and... More

We stayed here for 4 nights during Celtic Connections. It was ridiculously cheap. The room was fine with a great shower. Downstairs there is a large bar/restaurant area so we could gather with friends when we wanted to. The location is very central but on a quiet side street. Close to Cowcaddens subway station. More

Stayed in this hotel in March for a night. Found it up to travelodge standards. Very basic, however thats what you expect from travelodge, however it was very comfortable and clean. Is in a great location, especially if you are going shopping, on a night out etc. Would stay here again. More

Well as with most Travelodges you get what you pay for and I only paid £50 for two nights for me and my sister so can't complain much. However might be worth noting that room 703 has a dodgy shower (leaks and makes a puddle on the floor whenever you use it) and the kettle hasn't been used in a... More

This is the dirtiest accommodation I have ever stayed in. I've slept in low budget travellers hostels abroad which have maintained a far better level of cleanliness than this. While it is a cheap and budget hotel, I do not expect to have to sleep in a room that clearly hasn't been cleaned properly in years. There was stains on... More

Two friends and i stayed in this travel lodge for one night in December, we all had a room each so i got to see three rooms on one visit, The rooms are nice but the bathrooms are small and grubby, The baths all had large metal grab bars on the side walls which would be very helpful if you... More

This is my second time staying here although it was 5 years since I last stayed here. The rooms need to be upgraded, beds were very uncomfortable, room and bathroom very shabby and dirty. When we returned to room key wouldn't open the door so had to go back down to reception which was fine, these things happen. The bed... More

We have just returned from 5 nights at this travelodge. The web stated some noise due to building works but it was not a problem. Breakfast was travelodge standard, we ate twice in the evening but the service was slow. I would recommend the chip shop which is across the road. I was worried about previous reviews but I would...
