The hotel looks nice enough and if booking a party the run up is amazing. Food tasting and presentation is professional and very well done. However once you have paid things change, the woman who had dealt with us all along a few days before said someone else will be dealing with you on the day. The food was nothing...

Excellent location, easy to get into centre of town by train without the hassle of parking. The reception staff were extremely helpful with all of our queries even printing off information for us without us asking, a nice surprise.

I stayed in the Pond Hotel for four nights over New Year. They lost my nightdress on the third night.
When I spoke to the hotel staff they said they could do nothing that day.

The breakfast buffet was plentiful and filling (worth the £5 special offer price we paid). It has free parking, within walking distance to the West End restaurants and pubs but also on a good bus route to...

Rooms are pretty good for the money that you pay but could be improved through the addition of an iron and board. I stayed for three nights and my visit was really ruined by a very rude chap on reception who left me almost speechless- shame really because other than that and the fact that my sheets looked a little...

Good value, not a posh 5 star hotel but worth staying if you are on a budget. Room looked like it was recently refurbished. Quite easy to get into the city by bus or taxi, and about a 20-30 minute walk into Glasgow's West End with great pubs and restaurants.
Not that easy to find the entrance of you are...

My husband and I got a room through Booking.com for £50 per night (not incl breakfast) for 2 nights just before the new year, and were very pleasantly surprised at the standard for what is a 3* hotel. The room was comfortable and clean and the decor contemporary and stylish. The reception, lounge area, bar and restaurant all had nice...
