The hotel is a very friendly place to stay in Glasgow with comfortable rooms and great personal service. We've stayed before and since our last visit the beds have been replaced with even more comfy ones. The decor is fresh and stylish and individual which makes each stay an occasion. Situated on Elderslie Street it's a handy walking distance for Sauciehall Street or Kelvingrove and the West End. Book direct for the best price and I'm sure you'll not be disappointed. Kevin made us feel welcome, preparing a great breakfast to set us up for the day.

Allan was an extremely helpful host. Nothing was too much of a bother for him . Lovely place to stay … so much so going back soon . Stayed there as we were going to a gig at the hydro. Decor throughout was very nice Definitely a boutique inspired hotel a credit to the owners.

A reasonably-priced, clean and comfortable hotel within easy reach of Glasgow City Centre and the West End. No complaints whatsoever. I would be more than happy to book to stay there again. Staff were also very helpful when I had to amend my booking, which was facilitated without fuss.

A small haven of professional calm to come home to in a lovely part of Glasgow, very near to all the busy sights, adjacent to the park, walking distance to the University & West End in one direction and the main shopping area in the other direction. This is the second time we have visited, and it was just as good. Kevin is an excellent and welcoming host, the rooms are stylish, the bed comfy, shower very nice, all clean and warm. Thanks for another relaxing stay.

A liitle gem of a hotel in a fantastic location, a stone's throw from Kelvingrove park, galleries, University as well as the shops of Sauchiehall Street. A few steps away is a lovely cosy little cafe for coffees and lunch and next door in te basement a great modern (hipster) restaurant with a creative and delicious menu (March Five). The hotel is clean and well decorated and full of period featues. The only downside was thin walls ( I could hear my next door neighbour cough and snore in the night!!). Luckily that was all I heard! Staff were friendly and helpful.

Our son recommended this hotel and it met our high expectations. The hotel was clean and comfortable, staff were friendly, and breakfasts were freshly cooked to order. We walked to and from the city centre, Kelvingrove Museum, and the Armadillo. Took a reliable bus to the Arena. We would certainly use Acorn Hotel again.

A wonderful little hidden gem of a hotel. Booked this a year before an event for £40 a night and everything nearer to the event was £100-£200 a night. A lovely little hotel with a homey feel. Nice clean and well designed room. Totally safe and in a nice part of town. The walls are extremely thin though and you can hear people in the room next door watching TV. The bathroom was nice, the shower nice and warm but difficult to figure out. I was disturbed three times by maintenance one of the days but he was extremely apologetic and nice. Every day when I came back from the event the room was clean and towels changed. 5* from me. Great little hotel
