We had a fabulous stay at Aslar guesthouse. Stan and Mary were lovely hosts, our room was exceptional as were the breakfasts. We will be making a stay at the Aslar guesthouse an annual event. More

Great location. Clean rooms. Fantastic food and great service. Stan and his wife are top notch hosts. I came for the golf, but will come back again just to stay here again. Don't leave without trying the eggy crumpets!! -Jason, San Diego More

From the lead-up to me arriving (when Stan was in contact to make sure someone was around at my arrival), to the moment that I left (with Mary joking and laughing and bidding me farewell), it was an absolute pleasure to stay here. Whilst St Andrews is a tiny place then Aslar is ideally located and the rooms are not... More

Aslar's owners Mary and Stan make you feel at home from the moment you arrive. They have a wealth of local knowledge that they're happy to share and they make you feel ever so welcome. The rooms are comfortable and, while traditional, they have all the comforts you could wish for: TV with DVD, tea, coffee and biscuits, hairdryer, straighteners,... More

Another Fantastic weekend in St. Andrews, staying with Mary and Stan. As always, a very warm friendly welcome to their immaculate and extremely comfortable B&B. I cannot envisage staying anywhere else when visiting St. Andrews, nowhere else could match the hospitality and service you get from Mary and Stan. More

Mary and Stan go beyond what anyone could expect - and our expectations were quite high. Our group booked our stay after searching Trip Advisor and were wonderfully surprised that the rave reviews couldn't fully describe the Aslar experience. Mary's breakfasts were amazing and certainly gave us plenty of fuel to walk the golf courses each day. Stan was very... More

We were welcomed by Stan's warm reception. Our room had a comfortable room with fireplace and modern bath. The room was equiped with a coffee/tea maker, cookies, hairdryer, sewing kit and two arm chairs. The breakfast made by Mary were the best. Try her French Toast or Cuddled Eggs! They were very helpful in making reservations for restaurants, giving directions... More

Our first phone call with Stan to book our room lasted 20 minutes because we were having so much fun talking. Funny guy and Mary, his wife, can hold her own with her humor. We arrived and Stan was just as he was on the phone. I felt like we had known him forever, and before we left, I knew... More
