Me and my partner stayed here for three nights in March. Rooms are basic but spotless. Comfy beds. Had a better sleep here than I do at home! food and drink in the bar and restuarant are reasonably priced and food is lovely. Would definitely stay here again.

Had many meals in the reastaurant at the Gilvenbank. Food is good simple fare and service is quick and friendly. Never had a bad meal at this restaurant. The chicken goujons with chili dip starter is superb and the baked ham main meal takes a bit of beating. Prices are excellent value.

I stayed here with a colleague as we had our staff Christmas party here. The room was clean and had everything you needed. The breakfast was very tasty although the coffee was a bit cold. I would definately return.

My husband and myself got married at the Gilvenbank in August and couldn't have been happier! The staff were excellent and the food was lovely, I would highly recommend the hotel for a function and the food is lovely as well with plenty of choice, the rooms in the hotel are modern and clean, really glad we got married here!
