We originally planned to stay in Edinburgh for 2 nights (ended up being 4). Emad offered us a 2bedroomed/2 bathroomed apartment with lounge/dining room plus kitchen only 3-4 minutes walk from his guesthouse. It was a fantastic stay for us, very very comfortable, extremely secure with private parking. Thank you Emad, the weather proved to be very cold and wet... More

Stayed 3 nights April 2012.Would definitely return . Accomodation was clean and very tastefully decorated, breakfast was excellent. The owner Imad was extremely helpful and gave us all the local tips we needed including some v. good restaurants nearby. Ideal location with parking nearby and city centre just 15 min walk. Most enjoyable trip. W.J. More

We stayed one night and it was generally nice. We were in room one which overlooks the road. The bed is 2 singles together but very comfy. The website says that all rooms are en-suite but ours wasnt although it has a very small private shower room. Breakfast was nice but pretty crowded as there is a limited serving time... More

The comments regarding the website have been enlightening. The website does not in fact state that ALL rooms are en-suite, however, it does imply that this is the case. We have now contacted our web-designer to correct this and make clear that we have this one room that has ‘private facilities’. All customers are informed when booking this room that... More

We arrived at the Classic Guest House Friday 30th December and had a very warm welcome from the owner Emad. He gave us each a complimentary bottle of water, which was much needed after our exhausting journey. The rooms were very inviting and comfortable. Everything that you need and want is available to you. The bathrooms are a little small... More

We managed to get the last room over Hogmanay in this great little B&B. We had a warm welcome on arrival and evey morning at breakfast. We stayed for 3 nights and the price was brilliant considering its one of the biggest events of the year in edinburgh. We had room 6 and although slightly smaller than Im used to,... More

The guest-house offers a warm and friendly environment. The people are truly friendly and the accommodation is very good. You can tell they love running a guest house. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone who wishes to enjoy their stay in Edin. More

Three generations of us have just stayed at this lovely guest house (my mum in her 70's, myself and my sister mid 40's and my niece 18). We had one of the family rooms which was very nicely furnished (2 singles and 1 double), plenty of storage, good floor space and a nice bathroom. The hotel was very clean, the... More

Would definitely recommend this guest house to friends, and would stay again. Very warm welcome on arrival at 12 noon. Room 8 was on the top floor in the eves of the house, plenty space for our whistle stop one-night stay with en-suite shower/toilet. Clean and bright room, with modern decor, very comfortable bed and large wall-mounted satellite tv. Freshly... More

We stayed at the Classic just for a couple of nights. The host couldn't have been more hospitable! He always spent time with us when we crossed paths to ask how we were doing or to show us something of interest or to help us in anyway that we asked! Our room was a family room to which we upgraded... More
