I can barely fault this hotel. From the moment we arrived, the vast majority of staff demonstrated that guests were their priority (there was only one staff member that I found a little less helpful) This continued throughout our stay, early check in was just the first example. Our room was an executive one and it was everything that we... More

Stayed here for 4 nights whilst visiting a local office. Very easy to find, right next to the m8/city bypass junction, and had ample parking. The reception was very nice, with organised staff and was very quick to check in. Two lifts were available to take us to our rooms. Interesting touch - at each floor there is a shoe... More

Just had a lovely weekend break in Edinburgh. Booked this hotel through Bookings.com. We paid £126 for a 3 night stay(no breakfast), in a superior double room, and it was that. The room was very clean, lovely and quiet and peaceful. We had room 312. The pillows are so comfortable, only brought a small case with me and I couldn't... More

We were arriving late 10pm so called to confirm, on entering the hotel the 1st thing that hits me is a very strong smell of chlorine( had I entered the local swimming pool by mistake?) Anyway continued to reception to be greeted by 2 nice young ladies, given keycard and told our family room was not ready! Someone would be... More

Only one minus point which was that room service came round knocking on everyone's doors at 9.30am on Sunday even though you had room up until 12noon. This was a bit cheeky to try and get starting on the rooms that were vacated. Maybe good idea to have the "do not disturb notices" available. Otherwise, faultless. More

after reading others reviews and staying at other Novotel properties I was very surprised at this hotel. The hotel it self looks very nice and tidy, however the staff have a all around "Who the @#^#$ are you?" attitude. a simple request for wash cloths and they gave me a look as if I was the dumbest person on earth...
