We have stayed 4nights in the hotel and can not find anything to complain about. The owner was really friendly and easygoing. Krystyna - the waitress / maid / receptionist - was also doing terrific job, always had a nice word for us. The hotel is not in the centre, that is rue, but easily accessable by bus and absolutely... We stayed at Drumorne for 4 days, and found it a basic but comfortable base from which to explore Edinburgh. The B&B is 1 minute from a bus stop that takes you into the centre of town, which is about 10 minutes away. There are some small stores within about 5 minutes walk. Our room was large, with 3 beds... I stayed here for a month, and I have to say it is a great place to stay. Very warm and friendly, while also giving you your own space. Abi is a great host and is a very genuine and sincere person and is a great source of local information. The rates are very reasonable and a bargain. I would... More

The host, Abby, and his assistant, Charlene, were very pleasant and accomodating. the room was small but very comfortable as was the bed. The breakfast was delicious. they went out of their way to make me feel welcome and comfortable. The guest house is about a 25 minute walk from downtown Edinburgh, a very pleasant walk I might add and... More

I stayed there with my mates when we visited Edinburgh for Hogmanay. The owners were fantastic! Really helpful and friendly! The room prices were unbeatable and the hotel was situated in a location very close to city centre. I would definitely recommend it. Even though it may have not the luxury of a five-stars hotel the warm and friendly atmosphere... More

The owner of this bed and breakfast is very helpful, and gives you a warm welcome. The rooms are small, but clean. It is basic , but comfortable. You do need to get a bus into the city, but the bus stop is just outside. The area is not noisy and we had a peaceful nights sleep, after hectic days... More

I don't usually leave reviews after a holiday but i have decided to leave one for the Drumorne B&B because my husband and I had a lovely time there. The rooms were spacious and nicely decorated. Nothing luxurios but we had all we needed in the room and the private bathroom. We slept very well, the area is quiet but... More

Great hospitality, clean (small) rooms, great value for the money. Nothing fancy, but the hospitality and friendliness of the staff was just amazing. Rooms are clean and decorated with love. Great location,- 15-20 minutes to walk to City center (Royal Mile).

The room was very very small, without a wardrobe, tirty and without natural light. The bathroom was more or less 1 m2 without a window, cut out in the bedroom already small. You can't reach the main attractions by walk you have to use the public transport. Bus spends al least 10 minutes to reach the city centre. Antonella and her... More

Location: very good, not far away from the city centre. The bus (44) frequency is 10 minutes. Even if you like to walk, through the Holyrood park to the city centre it will take around 20 minutes. The local place is enough secured. Guest house and rooms: it is a lively house with a breakfast room on the ground-flour. The... More
