My partner and I recently had the very good fortune of spending two nights in this beautiful B&B, situated in a quiet neighbourhood only a short bus trip from the city centre. Our room was very cosy and comfortable, with everything we could possibly need, and with a delicious and hearty full Scottish breakfast each morning, Doris and Eddie's hospitality... More

Doris and Eddie's fabulous environment and generous hospitality created a wonderful home away from home while we were in Edinburgh. Breakfast was always tasty (wonderful fruit and full Scottish breakfast), and conversations were fun and helpful. Location was superb for our purposes with convenient bus lines and restaurants. All in all a wonderful stay. Anne and Jack More

We can highly recommend this B&B, we stayed for 4 nights over New Year, Doris's is minutes from both train stations in a cab, also right on bus routes from the centre of the city. The area is a lovely quiet one, but a nice ten min walk from the royal mile, there are a few walks into the centre... More

A beautiful B&B owned by a lovely scottish couple. We stayed for 2 nights and found the location perfect because it is very close to the city only a 10 minute walk. The area is pleasant and safe and is packed with restaurants. The rooms are really nice and spacious and cleaned to a spotless standard daily. Breakfast was brilliant... More

We stayed for three nights at this lovely, homely B&B, while on a sightseeing break in Edinburgh. Our hosts were a nice, friendly, helpful couple. Everything was of a high standard, with amazing cooked breakfasts! We would definately stay here again & will recommend it to family & friends. More

My partner and I stayed here for two nights - we had twin beds which were joined together to make one huge, comfortable bed. The room, ensuite bathroom, breakfast and welcome from Doris and Eddie were all excellent. The house is located in a leafy suburb with secure off-street parking (important in Edinburgh) with buses nearby to take you into... More

Our stay with Doris and Eddie was the best of our trip. Both of these wonderful people went out of their way to help us, offer guidance and suggestions as well as answering our questions. Their home is lovely, with off street parking and beautiful garden. Our room was clean and spacious with a private bath, and the first comfortable... More

This is a wonderful place, with spacious, clean new rooms. Our hosts have been marvellous, always available for any need. Breakfast abundant and always fresh, under request Doris prepares a delicious porridge. Parking inside. Spacious garden. Restaurants are 5-10 mins walking, and you'll find menus in your room. Bus stop is close to the house. More
