Stayed here for 2 weeks. Owners and staff were so friendly and extremely helpful! The room was clean and cosy. Delicious breakfast. Great location (close to the centre of Edinburgh). Secure car parking! High recommend Averon Guest House! More

The owner is very nice and helpful, the house is very close to the citycenter. Just the rooms are a little bit smal and the bathroom is worn. But for 2 nights fine. More

Excellent location, close to the centre of Edinburgh. The owner and staff are very helpful and friendly. Rooms are clean and very comfortable and a good breakfast was provided. This was a family holiday and for someone who has travelled quite a bit with family, it was the most spacious family room I have stayed in. Definitely value for money. More

Great location that was perfect for walking around Edinburgh. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good (selection of eggs, cereal, porridge) and was served in a cozy front room.Definitely recommend for the value. More

Excellent location to all areas of the city and a good breakfast was provided. Staff were really helpful. My one criticism is that the rooms could do with a make-over as they looked a little dated. More

We enjoyed getting to know Mr and Mrs Cran and they made themselves available to us for whatever we needed. The home is quite old (built around 1750) and the character is nice, but everything is quite loud with squeaky floors and thin walls. If you want to sleep in, you will have a difficult time of it with everyone... More

Walking distance to attractions in Edinburgh, can only say that room and service were adequate. Not much more can be said about our stay. Some of the bedding could be renewed, such as pillows and doona. More
