Reception is ready and willing to help you with a smile. Rooms are clean and tidy. Within easy walking distance from shops and a short bus trip away from several tourist locations. Local laundry a short walk away which is a personal must of mine

We stayed for 3 nights and it was clean and tidy and just a little wee bit quirky - and really enjoyable. The staff were smiling and pleasant and overall it was great value, I would go back again! There is a bus stop a minute from the front door - so handy enough for going into the town. Cheers

I had a pleasant stay att the Thistle Guest House. Is´t nothing fancy and the room was not perfectly clean. To my surprise the sheet has not been changed and there is only one bathroom/toilet for this "guest house". Under each bed there is poison against rodents and amount of old dust on the carpet (I didn't see any vacum-cleaner). One "bedroom" is so small that there is place only for the bed. Only the breakfast is normal.
