There is a large skylight which is uncovered and so the light will wake you at 0430..There was a persistent noise coming from the bathroom...this was reported but not rectified. Stayed at the Edinburgh east with my family and enjoyed the whole experience. The staff are all very friendly and happy and the room was very clean. Would definitely stay again. The hotel is just a short taxi ride from the main centre which is ideal as driving in Edinburgh is not great.
