This is a terrific little hotel. We had a nice big room on the first floor facing the back, so it was very quiet. The staff are brilliant: helpful, friendly and super-efficient. We booked this hotel for a 40th birthday treat and loved every minute of it. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were lovely and very funky (but without being impractical). We ate in the bar and I had the nicest burger I have ever tasted! And the breakfast was amazing too. The location is perfect for exploring... More

“High End Comfort - Reasonable Price”

The Palace is a lovely small, intimate boutique hotel. It is located just outside of the hurly, burly of tourist Edinburgh but within very easy walking distance of the the central tourist area. The rooms are miniscule --- so be prepared. But, the accoutrements lovely - excellent bed, stylish details. There is no elevator. More
