The room was clean but this was the only good thing. Dirty bathroom, rusty razor in sink, old soap. Breakfast swimming in oil, not helpful owners when needing directions- sat and shouted directions from sofa whilst watching telly.
A friendly welcome in a city we had never visited before. A very good nights sleep and a lovely breakfast with special requests. Certainly comparable with other B &B's we stayed in.
We stayed at The Rosses Bed and Breakfast for two nights recently on a trip to Edinburgh. We were here to see our son settle into university. The hosts Mr and Mrs Boyle were fantastic and so welcoming. They were also so understanding about our fear of leaving our son in a strange city.

Only book this B&B if you want a very small room with a shared bathroom, inadequate plumbing (no bath/limited hotwater), breakfast in their kitchen, and unfriendly, self-centred hospitality, all for £80!
