We stayed for a couple of nights and loved it. It's in a great location, on a main bus route taking you right into Edinburgh centre. The host was so friendly but not too OTT either, there was a relaxed atmosphere around the place. Rooms were a great size and very comfy. Breakfast was very good, I'm a Vegetarian and... More

My husband and I honeymooned around Scotland and I have to say Edinburgh has a real special place in our hearts, helped by our stay at St.Conan's, a lovely room, such a warm friendly welcome and a fab breakfast. Can't wait to return. More

We have stayed in many B&B's in Edinburgh and i would say that this is the best b&b that we have stayed in, Owner is really friendly, even remembered what we were going through to Edinburgh for! We were going to the Festival Theatre, it was only a 10-15mins walk away. B&B is clean and comfortable and breakfast is fantastic... More

The B&B owner was extremely nice and friendly and very helpful giving directions. The accomodations were very clean. Also they were able to accomodate me at the last minute even though I had to change rooms after staying 2 nights. There is a lot of street noise in the front 2 rooms and I would say the walk to the... More

...as we travel a lot, we see quite a few b n b's around the UK. This one belongs to the ones we like, the owner is very friendly, up for a chat, flexible and cooks a brilliant breakfast. The rooms are nice, clean, quiet and all in a different style. The B n B is close to the city... More

Fantastic value and great place to stay. Very comfortable, clean rooms. Good selection for breakfast and everything freshly cooked. Owners couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. Easy access to city centre both by walking and bus. Will definitely stay then again. More

Stayed at St. Conan's for two nights in May. Three of us stayed in the family en-suite room. The bathroom has washcloths, which is uncommon in the UK. Our hosts, the Bryces, were very generous, only charging us for three occupants when the room has four beds. The home is immaculate, the beds comfortable, and the host (Jim) friendly and... More

We chose St Conan for a two-night-stay this year as we had tickets for the TATTOO in Edinburgh. I have to mention that even the e-mail contact during the booking procedure was very kind and friendly and in a very helpful manner. We travelled with our 5 year old son and without problems we were able to get a family... More

St Conan’s Guest House is in the Newington area, just 25-30 min walk to Princes Street and only 10 min by bus. The bus stop is located just outside the house and there’s also a night bus service. The Guest House is run by a couple. The host was very kind and friendly. We stayed in a double room, with... More
