This was our first trip to 23 Mayfield, what an excellent place to stay, Edinburgh center by bus or taxi just a few minutes away. The guest house is very well maintained with well proportioned rooms. The breakfast choice menu is exceptional. Ross is a most excellent host and made our stay memorable.

This was our second visit to 23 Mayfield and we highly recommend it. Everything about it from the rooms, the breakfasts and the staff is of a very high standard with attention to detail in all aspects. Ross made us feel very welcome and had a fabulous 3 days stay. A quality but very welcoming hotel.

We really loved staying at 23 Mayfield. Ross, his mom, and Andrew were the warmest, most helpful hosts ever. The house is over 150 years old and belonged to a person of wealth and great taste.
