I recently spent four nights at the Aberlaw. I was made to feel very welcome from the moment I walked in the door. Though I had booked a single room I was offered the family room as this was available. And what a marvellous room it was! Super- comfortable bed with quality bedding, beautifully furnished, with a lovely sitting area,... More

Aberlaw Guesthouse en-suite rooms were tastefully decorated, clean and very comfortable. We stayed only a night on our stopover from Inverness to Edinburgh. There is no reason to doubt the Aberlaw room and service quality. Linda is a warm and great host which made our stay more at home. Thank you so much for the great Scottish hospitality. More

I was a young woman travelling alone and never have I felt more safe and welcome. I was advised on the best ways to travel to and from the city centre and other surrounding areas which was extremely useful as I had never visited the area before and my map reading skills are more than a little dubious! The bedroom... More

Quite near the city centre and not difficult to find. Rooms are very clean and furnished with style. Excellent and plentiful breakfast. It is possible to park behind the house. Linda was very very helpful and courteous, she explained us where we could go to have dinner and what we could visit. Marco & Claudia from Italy More

We came up at short notice and were very grateful to find a room near to Carnoustie. On arrival it was wet outside and the owner asked us to cover our shoes- a good sign that the house was to be clean. In fact, the rooms were spotless and the beds very comfortable. Linda was exceptionally chatty and always available... More

With help of sat nav, easily found. This was a good stay. Very clean, great food, basically, we could not fault it. Maybe, breakfast for 9 rather than last call at 830, might be best for holiday stays, but it might also be geared for golfers, who are up and gone by nine. Very friendly service and all in all,... We were in Scotland 9 days and this was by far the best B&B we stayed in. Room was large and very clean as was the rest of the house. Linda was extremely friendly and helpfull. I would not hesitate to stay here again. More

Aberlaw Guest House was spotless, comfortable and appealing with an excellent and plentiful breakfast served in a lovely breakfast room on each of the two morning we stayed while visiting family in Dundee. The hostess was generous with her advice and had very good local knowledge which was of great assistance to us. The off-street parking was a bonus and... More

A lovely, clean place to stay. The lady who is an owner (sorry I cannot remember the name) was extremely helpful and courteous. The breakfast was very good (including fruits and yogurts). My husband and I spent only one night in Aberlaw B&B, but we feel like at home. More

The rooms are well kept and stylish. I am from a much warmer climate and they asked me on a couple of occasions if I was comfortable considering the weather. I did say that although the heating is working well, I was unusually cold because I had the flu and just needed to adapt. That evening they bought a heat... More
