Just back from a wonderful weekend in Kirkcudbright. What a wonderful town, so friendly and helpful and what a great hotel. Ideally located in the centre of the town the hotel is like a tardis. We stayed here one night only (Saturday), whilst visiting the Creetown Country Festival a few miles away. A real find, only regret is that we could not stay longer. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The restaurant was outstanding as was the service, both at reception and in the pub. Breakfast was a treat as well, again with outstanding service. more
