We stayed at the Hazeldene for a friends wedding at the nearby Blacksmiths forge. The hazeldene was very pleasant, the staff attentive. The room was comfortable and made for a nice stay. My only gripe is that breakfast is served only between 0800 and 0900. Would have been nice to have been given slightly longer. Not really an issue though.... More

we had our wedding reception here under the new owners in august 2011 the staff were fantastic/ friendly and attentive meal great. We had been there under previous owners in june and didnt find it half as good as now. Definitely go back maybe not this time in a wedding dress!!!! More

We didnt actually stay at the Hazelwood we ate here and the food was exellent. I would recommend it a lot. My advise would be if you are staying at the Smiths then eat here because its nicer and you get a lot more value for your money. Service also very good plus drinks are better value. More
