My mother and I stayed at the Anvil View for two nights to attend a wedding at the nearby Smiths Hotel. Price-wise this was amongst the cheapest and included breakfast which is a must for us. However, they appear to not have twin rooms so we plumped for sharing the small double which was £65 per night booked via Laterooms.... More

Lovely guesthouse, friendly owners, who were also very helpful. We booked a double room which was clean and perfectly fine. Great location for Weddings at Mill Forge, but book your taxi early! (there are only two taxi firms in the area). Breakfast was very good. More
