Had a Sunday lunch there with my wife. The food tasted good but it was cold. The waitresses did not ask how the meal was until we had finished. A shame as it looks great and has promise. Unlikely to eat there again More

Stayed one night on business. Great small hotel. The room was not a suite by any means but it was a good sized double which was very clean and nicely decorated. Staff were very friendly & courteous. Evening meal was excellent as was breakfast. Worth far more than 3 stars. Will definitely book again. More

The Ship is well worth a visit as is the town of Gatehouse of Fleet itself. We were there on a Friday and it was quite busy, so a reservation is recommended. Food was excellent and service was friendly and efficient. It also looks a good place to stay for B&B if in the area. More
