We choose this as a clean, quiet place to go for a Sunday roast. It was clean but staff was nowhere to be seen! The roast was congealed, drinks watery and service lacking- not made up by the loud woman at the other end of the room. Horrible, would skip this place and go to Sainsbury's for a sandwich instead! The county hotel is located bang in the middle of this small town and has private parking to the rear. We found the staff very friendly and helpful. Our room was comfortable with some nice touches like a bathrobe and "au lait" toiletries.
