We stayed one night whilst cycling Route 1 from Newcastle to Edinburgh. Monika and John's welcome could not be improved upon. Fantastic stay at this lovely two bedroom b&b on the southern upland way. The owner is friendly, the rooms warm and well maintained and the food lovely - especially the home made bread. She even caters for fussy vegetarians like me. Well worth a stop but book ahead as it is deservedly popular. More
