We stayed in Oban for two nights, myself, fiancé and our 8 month old daughter. We struggled to find somewhere that accepted children but the Maridon were pleased to help. We got there with all our bags (you'd think we were staying for a fortnight) and were taken to our room with a travel cot for the wee one all... more

When we booked the accommodation we stressed that we would be arriving on the late ferry into Oban at around 2345 and wanted to be sure this would be ok. I also phoned beforehand to make sure this had been noted. When we arrived the guest house was locked. We tried both the door bell and telephone - no response.... more

I only had a one night stay here before catch the ferry out to Mull but the hotel was perfectly accomodating. They kindly carried my heavy heavy suitcase upstairs for me. We had a twin room ensuite. Everything was brightly lit, comfortable and clean. more
