stayed for a weekend. the Staff were very pleasant and meals were good. the locality is excellent. On the negative there was very little entertainment, not enough seating in the reception/lounge area, and the lift was very small, which meant a long wait. more

The Regent is in a wonderful location right on the esplanade in Oban, and the our room had great views overlooking the water. However the room was small and the beds were hard. The bathroom was so tiny you could wash your hands while using the toilet! The hotel has one elevator and it's shared between the guests and housekeeping.... more

Horrible hotel, decor straight out the 1970's and doesn't look like the bathrooms have been cleaned since. Staff were rude when we booked in and the breakfast was truly awful slope and completely unedible. Please don't waste your money on this place more
