I have visited this property previously and am always glad to return. The location is wonderful and cleanliness is always second to none. The owners Garret and Fiona are always helpful and hospitable. My traveling companion and I keep awkward hours but breakfast is always first class and ready within minutes of our return from early morning outings. All in... More

We were filming at Inveraray Castle all last week, and after a hard days work it was lovely to come back to Claonairigh House. The location is beautiful and very quiet. Breakfast was a delight and enjoyed by us all each day, really set us up for our ten hour days! Would definitely return for a break instead of work... More

While I do admit we were a last minute booking and probably the first guests of the season, this B&B was extremely dusty. While I can live with dust, the look of the breakfast plates was enough to make me want to go hungry. The rooms were small and cramped for the tall men in our family, but they are... More

Dear Melissa, Thank you for your review I appreciate that you enjoyed the food I provided. I am very distressed about the fact that the breakfast plates were under par and wish sincerely that you had told me at the time so I could have seen what you meant and done something about it. The rooms are attic rooms as... More

my family took over the house when we stayed. Lovely bedrooms, each with their own unique theme. So peaceful and quiet and a great breakfast! We then helped feed the pig and my grandsons had a great time playing in the huge garden with Fiona's fantastic collies. Short but very sweet stay - Fiona is a great hostess.

We stayed three days at Claonairigh House and felt from the beginning wellcomed. Claonairigh House is a lovely land house, very well placed for travelling around. Stopped at Claonairigh House on the off-chance on our way to Islay. We were instantly made to feel very welcome by Fee and her daughter and supplied with tea and homemade cake. A beautiful location and a homely place to stay for just one night. Enjoyed the romantic room and the 4 poster bed.

the place is a bit hard to find and we passed a few ruins that scared us for 2 seconds. after that it was perfect. an amazing room, the best breakfast on our trip (freshly baked bread) and a wonderful landlady. We'll certainly keep this address - just in case we ever get back to Inveraray.
