First stop Montrose for 1 night. 36, The Mall - lovely experience, nice large room and clean. Friendly family run (was taken on a tour round town to locate good restaurants!). Good walking location for town, nice breakfast. Would return even though Montrose does not have much going for it.

we've been there end of May 2013 with 5 persons. The house is great! Beautiful rooms, decorated in a very good style. Excellent breakfast, and a really nice and friendly girl who served us. Car could be parked in front of the house. Wifi fo free. We can recomend this B&B absolutely.

Stayed here in March 2013 for 2 weeks. Everything was excellent apart from first week where the room was very cold. Now the radiator was very hot, probably due to it being baltic outside(snowing) and it being a big house with high ceilings. Hard to heat. Would definately recommend this B and B.

Stayed here in December. Very well furnished and very clean throughout. Large room with very comfortable bed. Although overlooking the main road it was very quiet. A beautiful house and a very comfortable room with an excellent en suit.The owners were very friendly and the breakfast was delicious.There were lots of little touches to make the place a little better than the run of the mill b&b and I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a place in the Montrose area

We stayed one night at 36 the mall. The room was big and bathroom new. There wasn't a bedspread on the bed, just the sheets and no valence around the base of the bed. Not critical, but made the bed and room look unfinished. Whilst the bed was comfortable, it was only a double, a bit squishy for my 6'2"... More
