Stayed in waterside inn from 4th-7th may. 22 ramblers thoroughly enjoyed our stay.Staff were polite and welcoming.rooms were basic but bed was comfortable and bathroom clean.Dining room staff were efficient, pleasant and very accommodating. The hotel was clean and quiet. Quite a retro decor, but does the job. Breakfast was fine with plenty of it. The staff was very helpful and polite. Maybe a bit overpriced for what it is... especially when you encounter beetles in your bathroom. The charging for the Wifi is a total joke - £12.5 a day!!! More

Very disappointed in the standard of the meal. Fish was dumped on top of lemon and the salad, Was it the junior in the kitchen plating up or the chef. Waitress staff did not know what meal had to be delivered to what table, shall not be back. More

Excellent meals served by friendly and professional staff. The Saturday roast dinner is always very good value for money. Arrived at just before 2100 and had to ring from my taxi to pre-order an evening meal. This is a tired worn out hotel that has seen better days. Decor and staff reflect this. What can I say. More
