We have just spent 4 days at The Orchard in Banff during our vacation in Scotland. Lovely place to stay and by far the best accommodation we found in Scotland. The place is spotless top to bottom and breakfast wonderful - best porridge yet and lovely home made preserves. Banff itself is a quiet town on the beautiful Moray Firth area. Little nightlife but good eating places and great architecture and good base for exploring the area. Must see places include Duff House (Magnificent old house and gallery right beside The Orchard) and the enchanting Fyvie Castle
