The hotel design is unsual. It's not my cup of tea for a business hotel. The room is dark and not much space for work inside the room. The bathroom is excellent although it's quite oversize even for american standard. The restaurant and breakfast are not that good compared to the hype. But again, it's Aberdeen. Nothing is good in... What can I say, wow! My fiancée and I are enjoying trying out all the branches of Malmaison one by one as an occasional treat to ourselves and the Aberdeen Mal has to be one of the best. Good first impressions with very friendly front desk. We had a "superior" room which was lovely and sumptious, even coming with a... More

This is now the third time I've been with a friend for the Girl Friday at the Malmaison. Would recommend this for the ladies. Enjoyed one night stay with a friend, treated ourselves to a facial, was fantastic. Would say the best facial I've had so would highly recommend if staying ladies do treat yourselves to a treatment. Staff in... More

We've stayed at this hotel 5 times over the last year or so and I wouldn't hesitate to go back. The rooms are lovely and the check staff are excellent. The bar when quiet is good with great service although it can get busy on a Friday and Saturday night. The food is great but the service in the brasserie... More

I spent two days here in mid December. Nice room; good size; good amenities with both tub and double shower. One room criticism ...one that is becoming more and more prevalent. Very poor lighting. Unless you are in bed or sitting directly at your desk it is impossible to see at night. One other comment that I noticed both in... More

Myself and my partner have stayed at this establishment three times now and found our recent visit extremely disappointing.   We arrived on Friday evening and were checked in without any problem, I did notice that the girl at reception was extremely helpful. After we got settled in we noticed that there was very loud music coming from the room... More

This was the first time we had stayed here, although we'd used the restaurant a few times before. The food was very good - dinner (great steak!) and breakfast (lovely eggs benedict), so was the service and we found the staff very friendly and efficient. We had booked a Junior Suite and the room was very comfortable and a good... More
