Surprised to find no recent reviews of this Hotel. We didn't actually stay here but came for an evening meal. Athough there was a wedding reception taking place, the entourage, guests etc were in a totally separate part of the hotel so we didn't feel as if we were intruding. I stayed at The Old Mill again this week and can report that normal service prevails...ie. clean, comfortable room, good food and compared with central Aberdeen hotels, very good value. The Old Mill is approximately 6 miles from the city and is in a very pleasant rural position next to the River Dee. I shall stay there again next time... More

Overall ambiance is of an old fashioned hotel, but it's wearing well. Everything was very clean, food was good, didn't have any "American Werewolf" moments in the bar from the locals. Overall, very good value. Everyone efficient and friendly. Would stay there again More

Very charming place, although located quite a ways out of town. The staff were very accommodating, as we had difficulties getting there and arrived quite late.
