Stayed one night here with three of my five friends of mine. Rooms were quite cold and the receptionist wasn't having her best day. This place is just for getting some sleep, nothing more. And over 20£ / night rate isn't the most competitive one.

This hostel is busy as Aberdeen is an expensive place to stay. But it definitely does not deserve four STB stars. The bed are actually pretty good. Dont waste your money on this hostel, there are a lot of B&B for the same price with Breakfast included and the hospitality is much better. No free internet, you have to pay 3£ per hour, no towels in the room, no tv, simple bathroom and its not a good location...20 minute walking to the city centre...thats not worth 50£... More

Lovely hostel in an interesting building and quite a peaceful district. Pity there aren't any shops, pubs and restaurants but there's a bus stop right outside the hostel. Good cooking facilities. We enjoyed visiting Old Aberdeen and the harbour. Friendly and helpful managers.

It was ok, pretty central to city, parking but no internet. its old. have stayed in much better and also a lot worse. it was a warm bed and had a kitchen. but hay its a hostel, you get what you can take.
