Great welcome at this comfy family home. Loved seeing the farm animals and the pets. Comfortable bedrooms and bathrooms. A really relaxing place to unwind and recuperate. more
I really enjoyed my stay at Pheasants Hill Farm. I found it to be a lovely B&B in one of the most stunning areas of Northern Ireland. A comparison between the Shangri-La depicted in the artful website, and the rather grim reality, is instructive. “Luxurious” - ? I don’t think so. I welcome the opportunity to respond to Mr John Gilmore's review. Mr Gilmore seemed to have unrealistic expectations of his stay. We offer guests a chance to stay on a working rare breeds pig farm. Guests see animals they probably have never seen before, and are unlikely to see again, as they are rare and unusual - breeds of old...
We stayed here to attend a wedding at Strangford. The room and ensuite was pleasant, as was the food. The owners let our girl play with the dog and see the sheep. The owners were pleasant, but not as outgoing as other B&Bs had been, as the other reviewer points out. more
The reviewer wrote the review 2 years after he stayed here. Why? What was the point? How could it be an accurate and fair?.
After staying at some fantastic b&b's in Northern Ireland, Pheasants Hill was rather a disappointment. The bedroom (Foxgove) was small and only really accommodated a double bed and wardrobe and there was a tiny en-suite bathroom.
