Lovely warm welcome from Barkley and Clare. Victorian housr b&b really sweet. Only downside is the shared bathroom facilities, the shower had low pressure and was mouldy in the corners. It was cleaned.... mostly ... jst needed work in that bath/shower. Really good breakfast and both too care from giants causeway. It was quiet and wam, but also offered a... More

Many thanks for your review and glad you enjoyed your stay. The shared bathroom you are referring to, although clean and functional, is next in line for refurbishment, although we are finding that a number of guests really appreciate the old style bath tub - especially after a wet Irish day! More

We stayed for a night as we were travelling up the Antrim coast. The B&B was in a great location and our host James was helpful and friendly from the moment we arrived. The room was a good size, nicely decorated and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious (excellent porridge and a lovely fry up) and they were happy to accomodate last... More

Nice largish rooms, ours was a family room, which are well presented, clean and comfortable. there was even a bath on our floor so you can have a good soak if you want. Our hosts were great, very friendly and gave us lots of advice about the area, local restaurants and attractions which was very handy. Breakfast is a rolling... More

Great little B&B 5 min away from the town centre and 3 min away from the seafront, in other words, perfect location. The room was super clean, tidy, quiet and warm. The best part was the breakfast (selection of breakfast available home made in the kitchen) and the hosts. The hosts were super friendly super helpful and really caring for... More

This is a well run place that pays attention to the details that make it a comfortable stay. Its close to the center of town as well as the incredibly beautiful shore. Berkeley knows the area well and will offer good advice to help you along the way. Ballycastle is my favorite town on the Antrim coast and now I... More

We were a group of 8 tired cyclists with the luxury of this hostel to ourselves. Mainly spacious double rooms rather than big dorms, and equally spacious kitchen and living/dining area. We popped down to the chippie on the sea front, bought wine from Costcutters (maybe 10 min walk into centre of town), and had a relaxing evening in the... More

My friend and I stayed here in a twin room and slept quite well for a couple nights. We also enjoyed the nice breakfasts. The staff were very helpful in regards to planning our outings around the north coast of Northern Ireland and over to Raitlin Island. The price was excellent. It is also a very good location near the... More

Great base for exploring the North Antrim coastline, we originally booked the cheaper option which was £60 a night for a double room with breakfast but due to a problem with the boiler and the fire alarm going off in the middle of the night we were upgraded to a larger room which would have been £70 a night. An... More

Glad you enjoyed your stay and only to pleased to upgrade you. Apologies about the early fire alarm (outside our control) and the boiler problem (which was fortunately sorted the next day). Sometimes things go wrong, but we're pleased we were able to provide you with suitable compensatory arrangements. More

We arrived here slightly damp after getting rained on at The Giant's Causeway. We had two twin rooms with no ensuite booked, but the grown ups got upgraded to a double with an ensuite. The rooms were pleasant, the breakfast was good and Berkeley was a helpful and chatty host. An Caislean is conveniantly situated for the harbour and the... More
