This is perhaps, one of the best B&Bs we stayed at in Ireland. The owner, Colette Klein is friendly and helpful. She greeted us warmly and invited us to chat for a few minutes giving us a quick overview of the area, then recommended a few excellent restaurants in the area. We were very generously offered an upgraded room at... More

Excelent hostel!! The owners are very kind and welcoming! It's located at the edge of the city. The room was very clean, confortable and beautifull. The shower was superb with hot water all day! The breakfast - tradittional ireland - was perfect. I would definitely return! I was sad I stayed only one night. 5 stars!

On my recent trip around Wales & Ireland, this B+B was by far the best all round. It is rated 5 star and is definitely worthy of that rating. The host and hostess were super friendly and helpful, the rooms were immaculate and the food superb. It's a little way out of town, but only a short drive.

Stunning place, would recommend it even to my best friends! With its location at the edge of the city it is nice and quiet , though the city centre still easily reachable for those who want to enjoy some night life. Really clean, nice smelling generous room, furnished fashionably and tastefully. The breakfast was a dream. We had everything we... More

We stayed here for 2 nights as part of our holiday in UK and Ireland. Colette and Burt welcomed us as strangers into their home and really made us feel as if it were our home as well. Returning after a long day sightseeing we returned to coffee and a fire to heat up next to. Colette's traditional breakfast is... More

Colette & her family are supremely friendly & welcoming. Their hospitality was excellent and their breakfast was absolutely delicious. Try the scrambled eggs they are very fresh as they are acquired locally.

My family and I had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Carnately Lodge. The owners made us so welcome; we wished our stay could have been longer. Colette is an incredible cook; breakfast was so good and plentiful. Our son was not feeling the best and Colette went out of her way to make sure he was as comfortable as... More
