The Farset had a very friendly and homie enviroment. The staff went above and beyond to make sure that our group of 13 was comfortable and well feed. Ruth made sure we had croissants in the morning and they were the fresh out of the oven. The continental breakfast was good with a yogurts, fruits, cheese, cereal, coffee, tea, milk,... More

The rooms were spacious and clean. Ruth was amazing! We had a group of 13 staying at the Farset, and she took such good care of us. The breakfast was small but very nice with warm croissants. There is only wifi in the lobby though.

Stayed here a couple of times now - only good if you have a car as it's out of the centre but the staff are absolutely terrific - friendly and can't do enough for you - a great laugh as well. Being where it is as well gives you a better appreciation of the city's history than the neutrality of... More

If you have the interest in becoming informed about the Troubles in Northern Ireland and are seeking a modestly priced accommodation, this may be your place. The staff overwhelms you with its hospitality and it offers lunches to take out on your visit to Belfast. It is dormitory living at its best, clean, efficient and they run programs if you... More

A great find.. the room is equal to any hotel room, yet with self catering faciitlies for dinner. Kitchen is basic - but OK for heating a meal, rather than cooking ! A big, secure car park that is locked at night. Friendly, helpful staff. Great breakfast - at a very reasonable price ..... rooms aren't meant to have wifi... More

The Hostel is close to the city center with buses at the road outside and taxis 4-5 pounds to the city or return. The staff are wonderful- friendly and helpful organising taxis and tours Myself and my daughter stayed here for four days in August. They have a self catering kitchen and laundry facilities or you can have a continental... More

The staff couldn't be nicer, really friendly and helpful. They offered advice, ordered taxis and looked up information for us. The rooms were good value. They were basic but our double had an en suite with bath, TV and even a kettle with tea and coffee AND a great view over the water - much more than I expected for... More

Farset is a great place to stay for value, cleanliness, friendliness & support. It's located off the Springfield Rd, & is integral in supporting, on a practical basis, the continuing effort, of the Peace Process. I would highly recommend anyone to stay in Farset when they visit Belfast.

Stayed twice at Farset house in June 2012. Very friendly service and a community supported project. Rooms are basic but just fine with ensuite. Internet does not reach all the rooms. No biggie. A 5-7 pound taxi from the center of Belfast each way. for me this was fine on my first stay and on my second stay i had... More
