“very basic, unclean and very hard bed”

so help full for us old folk . so crispy clean evan tea and coffee in the room at those prices easy parking easy to find nice price by booking 20 days in advance . will definitely be booking again for our next holiday

Clean tidy economy hotel. Excellent value for money with an optional all you can eat breakfast bufffet that includes traditional full english. Easy access from M4 and convenient for Cardiff city centre. I will use it again.

This was my 2nd stay at Ibis Cardiff Gate Hotel, both stays have been great and is ideal if you want somewhere to stay while away on business. “Away from the center, near the highway!”

For those traveling by car, the IBIS hotel is perfect for a quick overnight and then move on to the next leg of their journey. “My stay at Cardiff Gate”

Nice spacious room, comfortable bed and bright bathroom. Would have liked a few more TV channels. Breakfast was good and the hot options were a pleasant choice. The hotel compared very favourably with French Ibis's which have small rooms and are somewhat Spartan. Would certainly stay there again- excellent value for money

Very clean & tidy. Welcoming staff. However, Problem with door lock waited 50 minutes to get sorted. Mattress was so hard I considered sleeping on the floor! Nice rooms. Good location. The corridor I was on was very noisy with other guests in and out of rooms up until about 2.30am. Started again at 6.30. Not sure if I was just unlucky, but I didn't get much sleep
