Went to the Maltsters for Sunday lunch and found the meal very disappointing. The Seabass was overcooked, overpriced and severely undersized, while the diminutive portion of ‘buttered spinach’ was extremely dry and clearly contained no butter. Considerably superior meals are available for a fraction of the price at any local café. More

What a find. Already booked in for next year. Fantastics rooms, great beer and lovely food. Touch tv in the bathroom is a nice touch :-) More
