Excellent little place with spacious rooms and good facilities. Very homely and comfortable, the owner was very helpful and cooked a delicious breakfast. Great location right in the centre of town and the idyllic Brecon Beacons. After phoning round a few places in Brecon this was the cheapest and best value for money we found. We really enjoyed our stay at The Grange Guest House, the rooms were spacious and had satellite television. There was wireless Internet that worked really well for one afternoon then the next morning it was gone! The breakfast was delicious and there was also a self-service table. We found the B&B by accident even though it was on the main street but as it turned out it was probably the best value for all of the hotel/B&B's we stayed in during our month long journey in the UK. My great aunt Martha visited us from N. America and complained about everything. She'd be hard-pressed to find anything to complain about at The Grange. Clean and warm. Excellent, friendly service. We spent 2 nights at the Grange in a double room with shared facilities bathroom and paid £45 per night. This included a full English breakfast which, I must say was delicious. Next time we go to Brecon, will make sure I book earlier to get a double room on suite at £55. I would certainly recommend this guest house... More
