We stayed just for one night, after having a bad experience elsewhere in this beautiful region. Very friendly and nice people, just doing their 2nd season as a host, but they have an eye for details. Beautiful house in the centre of Betws-y-Coed, nice rooms, excellent beds and a very tasty breakfast (fresh orange juice). A pity that we couldn’t... More

This is a perfect B&B for those after a great location, friendly staff, lovely rooms and a great breakfast. Seven of us stayed for a long weekend, based ourselves here and climbed Snowdon. The B&B is in the village, so a short walk to pubs/restaurants and anything else you may need. Its a short drive (15mins) to Pen y pass... More

Found this gem by chance late on night while passing through. Very welcoming, great knowledge of the local area- ESP walking trails and eating out. More

Stayed Feb 2012 for 1 night. On arrival we were met with a very warm welcome with tea and biscuits in the lounge next to the warm open fire. The room was excellent, very clean and cosy with lovely views of surrounding countryside. Breakfast was amazing, wide choice of fresh fruit, yoghurt, cereals and fresh juice with a lovely cooked... I stayed here end of April 2011 during the royal wedding as we were on a family trip to climb Mt Snowdon. After searching the internet I came across the The Ferns and was pleased to be able to book at single room at a reasonable price! The hosts were very welcoming and friendly and gave good advice for places... More

A very friendly welcome, we arrived late, although prearranged we were made to feel very welcome. The room was very clean and fresh with gorgeous view! The bathroom wash immaculate, fresh towels and a lovely drinks tray. Breakfast was lovely, there was a wide range of fruit, seeds, cereal and the cooked breakfast was top quality! We were kept topped... More

My family and extended family of 14 recently took a 17 day trip to England, Wales, and Ireland. By far the highlight was our stay at the Ferns Guest House. Our group included kids from age 5 to 14, parents, and grandparents and we all had a great time. The rooms were well appointed, the breakfast delicious, and the hosts... More
