My wife and I have just returned form a few days break stopping at Tyn-y-Fron, and what a pleasure it was. The location, the building itself, the room, the breakfast and the general ambience was just so right. It is true that after reading reviews that identified Lesley as an excellent hostess we were a little disappointed that she had... more

Have to say what a lovely place to stay. Whilst we could only manage one night there (wish it could have been more), the stay was wonderful. Breakfast is individually cooked for you (you pick what you want the night before on a pro-forma in the hallway) and plentiful. The rooms are very well presented and had lovely cookies, tea... more

I cannot rate the Tyn-y-Fron highly enough, the rooms were lovely and the hostess was extrememly friendly, couldn't do enough for us. The view from the dining room was outstanding along with the perfect breakfast. My partner proposed to me over breakfast and I couldn't have asked for a more perfect setting. Thank you for everything. Will definately be visiting... more

We had just one night in the b and b and could not fault it. The room was clean and tidy with little extras such as mints and bottles of mineral water. Breakfast was perfectly cooked and served in the dining room over looking the hills. There is a pleasant short walk into town through a field and over a... more

We chose the Tyn Y Fron due to the good reviews given by previous guests, primarily on Trip Advisor, so our expectations were high and the reality certainly did not disappoint. This really is a lovely place to stay. It is in a beautiful location with stunning view and just just an easy 5 minute walk to the centre of... more

We felt that the welcome given depended on WHO the client was. In our case we were on a rock climbing trip ...not the usual B and B guests I guess! (However we were paying top rates at £75 a night. The Manageress was not at all helpful about giving us an early Full English Breakfast and as a result... more

Lesley was welcoming, very helpful with local knowledge and provided absolute comfort. Faultless breakfasts with provision for special diets. Tyn-y-Fron nestles under the hill directly above Betws-y-Coed and looks out across the valley. The approach is quite steep, and challenging for drivers but we 70+'s managed found it 'no problem'. The location of the house, above the village and road... more

Our two night stay at the Tyn Y Fron was one of the highlights of a two week trip to Wales, Scotland and England. The views from all the rooms are spectacular (try to get a room in the front of the house for the best views), accommodations were immaculate and totally up to date with our room including all... more
