I stayed in the Swallow Falls Hotel for four nights in October 2011. I found the room very small, albeit it was clean and well maintained during my stay. The bed wasn't comfortable - mattress in need of replacement. Bar meals were very good value, especially 2 meals for £10 offer. Average food though. While staying there, there was a... More

Spent two days at swallow falls over New Year? What was good....the hospitality, the bar, the location. Nice clean room with TV for a really good rate. My kids particularly loved the child friendly environment and the pool table and games room. This is not your average h English B&B and the walks nearby are fantastic. What was not so... More

The room had been painted quite recently which looked OK but the furniture was probably OK in the 70s / 80s. The taps in the ensuite were very loose in the sink so that you had to hold the body of both taps so that you could turn them on or off. The carpets on the stairs etc were vacuumed... More

Having waved goodbye to London my husband, daughter (11), son (5) and I set off to North Wales for a quieter New Year and what a great time we all had. After a long drive we finally arrived and a were greeted by a charming lady (the owners wife) who made us feel instantly welcome. She showed us to our... More

We stayed for New Year at Swallow Falls and had a fab time, the staff were lovely! We would really recommend this hotel and would stay again. The rooms were a very good standard and very clean. There is lots to do to keep children entertained -park, table tennis, pool table. Being just across the road from The Swallow Falls... More

Hotel is OK - basic'ish' but fine for purpose - but after a days walking you're looking forward to some decent filling food. I had the 'specials board' thai prawn curry and it had just 4 medium sized prawns in it! My wife's had 5! They were 8 quid each. Sorry, I'm not impressed. If I went there again I'd... More

Wow! - its taken 11 months to write this review - if your memory serves you well and you only had four or five prawns in your Thai curry then we apologise. However, if you remember, our breakfast does not only consist of beans, sausage and bacon but also egg, tomato, mushrooms, fried bread plus a selection of juices and... More

We had been looking for accommodation for a couple of hours when we drove into Betws-y-coed. The town was packed with people, the accommodation we enquired about was so expensive and the B&B`s had no parking. So we decided to keep driving and came across Swallow Falls hotel. The lady who booked us in (i never asked her name) was... More

(Had to be up at 6am for charity walk, so very tired in the morning) 2nd night, woken at 2.15 am, same tent rowing, fighting and swearing all very drunk and abusive and Very... More

In response to this review: the first night the site was attended to twice after the intial phone call -However there was no sign of the person that complained, no noise and therefore impossible to know which tent was the problem. We expected to meet up with the complainants the following day - however no one appeared to follow up... More

I used the campsite facilities at Swallow falls hotel during a weeks stay in early September 2011 and therefore ate/drank at the Bar and Tavern of said hotel. Just wanted to write a review about my experience. The Tavern (a large area for larger groups/familes with pool table and Sat TV) and the Bar (for singles, couples, smaller groups -... More
