This was my first visit to aberystwyth and we were so looking forward to it, l knew as soon as I entered the hallway something just wasnt right. It was the worst hotel I have ever been to, we couldnt get up the stairs for workmen and couldnt get to our room at one point for workmen putting the lights... More

Pleasant staff. Hotel lounge cluttered and seemingly not in use, bizarre considering the wonderful view to the front and out to sea. Room was ok, reasonable size for a Victorian townhouse. We had room 17. Bathroom fan was disabled and shower floor somewhat nasty I'm sorry to say. View through small windows just wonderful. Chair in awkward spot bybwindow between... More

I stayed in the Queensbridge during the summer to visit my boyfriend, who stayed there with me. The room was fine, not particularly dirty, but not immaculately clean. The sheets on the bed were the type that give you static shocks whenever you move. That I can live with. However, in the time I stayed in the hotel, the fire... More

The room and rate was good. However, there was a young man who got drunk and pretty much terrorized the place all night. This was not the hotels fault but what was their fault is that no hotel staff stay in the building during the night. Consequently there was nobody on site to address the issue, and all patrons calls... More

Manager very friendly - almost like he was trying too hard. Room had plenty of drinks and the bed was very nice. Room was quite cold in the morning, heating whirred on at 7.30. Shower rather cool and low in pressure. Bathroom needed a deep clean, glass to drink from hadn't been washed. All in all, great value if you're... More

Booked the Belgrave but was moved to their sister hotel the Queensbridge as they had overbooked .Was a little worried when i read reviews but was pleasantly surprised as the staff were very helpful and friendly. The fourth floor room was clean if a little on the small side . Unfortunately the small lift was very temperamental and seemed to keep... More

Having only thought to read the largely negative reviews on here the day before our stay, I was a bit concerned about staying at this place. However, it actually isn't bad at all - the room was clean, the staff were friendly, the location is great and it was very cheap, relative to other options in the town. Obviously, I... More

Beware of scam. Booked the Four Seasons, and on arrival, we were told there was a boiler problem and being sent to their "sister" hotel, the Queensbridge. It seems this little story is recurring, and there is some kind of scam going on. Little did we know we were being sent to a disgraceful dump of a place. Both places... More

We did not stay here from choice, but were bumped here from the Four Seasons, which we had actually booked 2 months previously. (see separate review). Firstly, this is not a hotel, but a B & B. There is no bar, no restaurant, and the advertised wi-fi was not present. On arrival we were presented with the room keys, but... More
