Being local I can only comment on the food and bar area as I have had no need to stay. Over the years I have had many happy visits to The Broadway mainly to the old Jockey bar which sadly is no more. Having said that the recent refurbishment has given the place a massive uplift and it does feel... More

Stayed for one night for the re-launching of the new look hotel. The public areas and restaurant are very nice. However, we were expecting a re-furbished room (which is what we’d asked for), the one we got may have had new bed covers and new rush mat carpeting which is horrible, it hurts to walk bare foot, this sort of... Used to love the old jockey bar but it's size made it hard to get a seat. There is lots of seating now in the new bar area and the bar meals that we ordered, crab linguine and steak pie were good. Look forward to another visit More

Having stayed at the Broadway Hotel over the years, it has always been a place to relax and enjoy the Cotswolds. So when we heard that it was closing for a refurbishment we got very excited, as we have seen the refurbishments at the other Cotswolds Inns and Hotels. So when we got the opportunity to return to the hotel... More

The first impression a visitor gets of a hotel is at Reception-and at the Broadway it was not good. We arrived at the hotel at 1pm on a Sunday, parked the car (where it was difficult to find space in the hotel's car park because of visiting lunchtime diners!), and took our bags into reception. We were told by the... More

I have visited this hotel numerous times for weekend breaks both in the winter and the summer. The surrounding countryside is beautiful and has something to offer at any time of the year, whether it's walking, horse riding or driving around. The village is charming with very attractive architecture and a great range of touristy shops, outdoor clothing and pubs.... More

We stayed in the Abbots Room (now renamed Arkle to reflect the racing theme of loads of horse pictures around the hotel, not to mention horsey wallpaper) and it's a triple aspect delightful room overlooking the green at the front of the hotel. A bit of traffic noise and the numerous pub tables outside might be a bit noisy in... More

Had a lovely stay at this hotel which has recently been refurbished and is now very stylish. The bedrooms are luxurious (complete with teddy) and the new restaurant is light and airy. Our room 24 was a little on the small side but when passing room 23 it looked much bigger. The food in the restaurant is very good -... More

We have just returned from a recent stay at the Broadway after its refurbishment and what a lovely welcome we received. The hotel has kept its charm and as always the staff are lovely, but the new decor etc has lifted the whole place and the new chef has certainly added to its success too. The whole hotel has a... We have stayed at this hotel on more than one occasion before as it is in a wonderful village, the staff are consistently great and the rooms are decorated to a very high standard. We have just returned and the ground floor of the hotel has undergone a major refurbishment which completely transforms it. There is now a lovely bar... More
