Terrible breakfast. Really disappointing. Room ok but beds small. Good central location.
Would be ok for a night, but not for longer. Nice city.

I've stayed for one night in Alabare guesthouse. This is a very small place where you can stay in rest. The house is very silent and you can have a good quality sleep.
You can also order your breakfast at night and you can request at certain time in the morning.
Cons: Very nice staff, very clean and silent hotel....

I stopped here for 1 night while visiting some friends but had a mixed experience.
The good points:
Its set apart in a residential area with a secure care park(may be a bit of walk if you dont have a car though), the rooms were clean.
The bad:
I stopped in a twin room and the beds were a little...

Well, mixed feelings here. The location is really beautiful, tucked away in a residential area of Salisbury. However, when we arrived in town, we called and were told to walk...not quite the right advice for towing luggage. We should have been advised to get a taxi, as it was a long haul uphill. We booked on hotels.com and thought we...

Had no idea what to expect at Alabare House, especially after learning that it is also a Christian retreat centre. However. although there are obvious signs of the Christian faith to be seen, this is also very much a warm and friendly B&B. After negotiating the unexpected gated entrance, we were greated by the tranquility of the place. The house...

We were 100% happy with our 2 night stay. Only 5 - 10 minutes walk into Salisbury but so quiet we felt we were in the countryside. Our room was very clean and spacious. Secure parking. Full English breakfast was perfect. Friendly helpful Staff. Shower Gel and Carex hand wash provided. Nice bedlinen and a comfy bed so we slept...

The location isn't that great if you have heavy bags to carry around. It's quite a walk from the station. Still, when arriving there is a gate to get through before you reach the house itself. Are you driving there is plenty of parking space. Inside you might be met by the hens who lives in the garden. The room...

The Alabare guest house is located just outside the centre of Salisbury (it's about a 10 minute walk), the room was cozy and everything in it and the adjoining bathroom looked quite new. There's a lounge/common room where you get breakfast which has an attached conservatory-type area with comfortable leather couches for hanging out. What the web site doesn't mention...

The Alabare house is a good alternative for those looking to get a wee bit off the usual US-traveler experience. About twenty-five mins from the rail station by foot, the house is located near the ring road but is still quite secluded. Neighbors from down the street had never heard of it - but it is real. Up the road...

Alabare House is a Christian retreat center in Salisbury that also offers bed and breakfast rooms. Our room was a family room and it was large and pleasant with a view of the cathedral from th window. Breakfast was good. This was an excellent location for walking into town from . . . we enjoyed our stay.
