We enjoyed our stay at Webster's so much that we returned at the end of our travels for a second night. It was by far the most comfortable place we stayed on our 3 week trip - the beds were more comfortable than our own! Had a great stay at Websters, we usually prefer to stay in hotels rather than guest houses but our room exceeded our expectations and was much bigger then expected, the extra touches such as complimentary water and sweets were much appreciated. The twin room we used was very comfortable and spaceous and light. The hosts were very welcoming, with good breakfasts to set us up for the day. It is very well located for the train station (especially good for getting the first Stonehenge Tour bus of the morning!) and the city centre is very close by. A very good stay! more

When we called on chance of getting a room I was struck by the friendly, easy-going manner of John, the proprietor. (We later met Veronica, John's wife who was equally pleasant).
