I have stayed in this Travelodge property on a variety of occasions mainly because of its location in the middle of the city center. Despite its central location, the noise is limited and the hotel overall is peaceful and calm.
The rooms are all you can expect from a low budget hotel. Spacious and clean (especially the bathrooms) are the...

Stayed again on a sun and mon nights. Room on top floor. Little bit jaded decor but very clean as was the lovely big shower room. Staff are always polite and friendly. Great location. Easy walk to plenty of shops, restaurants, art gallery and museums. Lovely chinese restaurant just across the road. Booked again for july....2 nights....£20 for two of...

Travelled in Feb not June, as shown. Would not let me choose an earlier date..
Room was not bad cleanliness wise. Towels were an odd texture but they did the job.
Location of hotel was rubbish due to it being so close to a VERY annoying club with it's music so loud, it was almost deafening. Slept maybe 1 hr...

Room so disgusting that I had to use late rooms to book a different hotel. Linen was grubby, grey coloured. Walls were dirty. Window frames broken and dirty. Remote didn't work. Chunks missing from door frames and wardrobe. Located in a terrible area. Lifts broken. Police were attending to an assault. Would not have slept here in a million years!!!!!

You know what you're getting when you book a Travelodge, but this was slightly below par. Check-in was straightforward, but the receptionist told me "we're a bit backwards here" which I didn't really understand! My double room was rather drab, but decent enough. The bed was very hard and the headboard quite wobbly, so it made a noise against the...

Ledds Travellodge, Vicar Lane - I stayed here due to the location being convenient for a business meeting in Quarry House. Unfortunately this hotel was state of the art in the 70s and whilst they have tried to update things, they have failed miserably. No toileteries, old worn towels and decor that was old when addressed. The cleanliness was doubtful...

Stayed here for 2 nights (Fri and Sat), location is very good and the majority of staff were lovely and helpful. The rooms were dull, the shower had hairs in it, the room just needed a good clean, however the bed did look clean which is the main thing. The walls are thin and you do hear every noise. If...

Great hotel for cheap stay in centre of town. Staff very helpful and cheerful.
Nice breakfast. Room was clean Quiet room over looking back of hotel.
Had evening meal in the bar/restaurant Staff very pleasant, food was good and reasonably priced. Left the barman a good tip, he was rushed off his feet and still very pleasant.
Only bugbear no...

We knew what we were getting when we booked Travelodge - cheap and cheerful - but unfortunately without so much of the cheerful! Our room was a bit grubby but it was only for one night!
