This travelodge is a great place in which to have an overnight stay. it is not far from the main motorways but I had a room at the back and it was lovely and peaceful. Stayed here for 1 night on a weekend away for clubbing in Leeds!!! The hotel itself is really good value. The bed was large and confortable and there was also a sofa bed in the room. After 2 days in York, we stayed here as we planned to visit the Royal Armories in Leeds. We stayed in a family room which had been well looked after and cleaned. We spent a night at this Travelodge and have no complaints at all. It was clean and quiet. The location is great, close to a local pub/restaurant, pizza place, etc, and right off the motorway (M1). We didn´t book in advance and thus paid 50 quid but it was worth every penny. more

Visted York but could not find value in the York area so we chose the 20 mile drive to this location. We paid 29 GBP for each of our two rooms by booking early. A little difficult to find as it is set back behind the roundabout but if you look carefully they have a sign on the traffic circle.... more
