Stay at HIE for four nights visiting relatives in Leeds. Comfortable room. No noise. Very friendly staff on reception. Excellent service. Self service breakfast excellent choices. Bit far from city centre but could walk in 10-15 minutes or catch bus in next street. Car parking secure and well lit. Only draw back no evening meals on weekends, but vending machine... more

We stayed here over a long weekend and although the reception staff were good, the cleanliness and laziness of Housekeeping and poor layout of rooms made sure we won’t be back Positives: - when requested a room change (because it was so noisy) the gentleman at reception moved us to a room at the end of the corridor (less noise)... more

What a pleasure to be in a modern 'good value for money' hotel with (1) clean, bright rooms where the facilities worked (2) friendly staff (3) a very good selection of continental breakfast items. staff great .hotel and rooms all in excellent condition.one gripe its a little unfair to call it city centre as its a 15 minute walk to the cenrte .really good shops and arcades ,the medical museum was excellent. more

We stayed here for a couple of nights when visiting our son at university in Leeds. It is conveniently placed just a short distance from the motorway, city ring road, city centre, universities and sports venues.
