Stayed in the Serenity Spa. Very polite and friendly staff who made us feel very welcome, nothing was too much trouble. The food here is excellent and very good value, and although the soup is served in a teacup, do not be put off by this, it as it extremely tasty and filling. We found this hotel by trawling the internet and we are so glad we did. We stayed here for our 25th wedding anniversary. Lovely house, good food, all the staff are friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Champagne breakfast in bed was great. For our 7th Wedding Anniversary we stayed in The Hideaway Spa, it was the perfect romantic getaway. We booked this room in particular for the hot tub and double whirlpool bath. It was a fantastic room and would highly recommend it for a truely romantic break. More

Had another overnight stay at the Ashmount and everything was fabulous as ever. This time we stayed at the Hideaway Spa room complete with hot tub. the room is beautiful with all little extras for a romantic stay including little candles, sherry, and a great double bath tub. Would highly recommend a stay to anyone. More

Just stayed overnight at the Ashmount for my wife's birthday and stayed in The Retreat at No 21. The room is awesome, really comfortable and very well decorated, the bathroom lacks nothing it has great shower and double jacuzzi and outside in the conservatory has a large hot tub and a private secluded garden.Would recommend this to all my friends... Came 2 years ago and thought Ashmount was wonderful. This time (January 2012) the bonus was that they now have their own restaurant. Don't bother to venture out to eat, you will not be disappointed if you dine in Ashmount's own restaurant. Our meal was absolutely delicious. More
